8 Favorite Splash Pads & Pools to Cool off in Memphis, TN

The weather is perfect right now, but give it just a few more weeks, and we will all be talking about that Memphis heat and humidity! I don’t know about you, but me and the kids love cooling off in the summer in splash pads and some of our favorite pools. The kids love swimming, jumping, sliding and cooling off. And I love watching them swim like mermaids and have the summer of their dreams! If you’re looking for all the best places to cool off this summer in and near the Memphis area, I’ve listed my favorites below.

Children’s Museum of Memphis H2OH! Splash Park – We love this little splash pad at CMOM. It’s not too big, but it’s perfect enough for small kids, and of course they have several other great exhibits both indoors and out to keep the kids busy including ziplines and a playground.

Germantown Athletic Club – The Club offers summer only memberships and has an indoor eight lane lap pool, hot tub, outdoor pool and splash park.

Life Time Fitness Pool – This is our favorite pool! We visited several times last summer. You can buy pool day passes here, so it’s a great opportunity to try it out and see what you think. They have indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and an outdoor restaurant to order food poolside. You will love spending a hot day here!

Memphis Zoo Splash Park – This is one of our favorites! We have been a few times during the day and once to a birthday party. There are so many slides here and also spray features for smaller kids too. Seriously fun for even the adults!

Roundabout Oxford – This waterpark is an hour away, but it is worth the drive! They have pools, a lazy river, slides, a splash pad, miniature golf, a hot tub and so much more!

Shelby Farms Water Play Sprayground – This 4,000 sq. ft. area has water tunnels, geysers, boulders and so much more. It is at Shelby Farms Park, so you know even after you leave this area, there is TONS more to do!

Suggs Park Spray Park – A great splash pad in Collierville. It’s near the square and has buckets and several sprayers. It’s a really fun one and usually isn’t crowded.

W.C. Johnson Park Spray Park – This splash pad is bigger than Suggs Park, and it’s in Collierville too. It is inside a huge park with a big playground, soccer fields, walking tracks and so much more! After playing in the splash pad, there is still plenty to do at this park!

YMCA Pool – They offer pool passes here, and they have a really good pool. We go to the Collierville location, and their pool is great. It is zero entry, has a slide and a few splash pad water features there.
