Guess what this week is?! FALL…finally! I have been impatiently waiting, as I’m sure many of you have as well. I cannot wait for all the football games, the crisp air, the hot chocolate, the pumpkin patches, the 12 ft. tall skeleton in my living room lol. I want all things fall! Matt and I adore fall, and so do the kids! For me, it really is such a special time of year, and we just love to get outdoors come fall and start crossing off everything off our fall bucket list! Check out my post here on favorite outdoor family friendly places to visit near Memphis this fall. Keep reading to see our family bucket list for fall and add a few to your list too!
.) Go apple picking. We haven’t been yet this year, but we did go blueberry and blackberry picking and absolutely loved it! The kids had so much fun picking fruit along the way and eating it. They did save some to take home too though. = )
.) Visit a corn maze. We took the kids last fall, and they loved it so much! You can also go at dark when it’s haunted.
.) Go on a hayride. The kids love hayrides, and there are several pumpkin patches where you can go for a ride, pick out a pumpkin and check out the haunted woods.

.) Jump in the leaves. You’re not living your best life until you’ve jumped in leaf piles.
.) Go to a fall festival or fair. I crossed this one off a few weeks ago with Leighton and Grayson. They always love the Delta Fair, and Grayson loved the ferris wheel so much!
.) Visit a pumpkin patch. We go to Priddy Farms every fall, and the kids always have a blast picking out pumpkins, riding the train and hayride and seeing the animals. You can read more about my favorite pumpkin patches here.

.) Have a family movie night outdoors with popcorn and spooky family-friendly movies. We have already been watching the Nightmare before Christmas nonstop, and we have been going to the Midweek Movies at Carriage Crossing. The next one is Beetlejuice on 11/1.
.) Have a scavenger hunt with leaves, rocks, acorns, and pine cones. As a bonus, make art with it after you find it all.
.) Go on a hike. We got in lots of hiking together in Asheville and Hot Springs, and it is always such a fun fall activity for the entire family.

.) Decorate or carve pumpkins. The kids recently picked pumpkins from the patch, and we will paint them next week. It’s a lot safer and less messy!
.) Go on a fall picnic. This is another favorite of ours, and we plan to cross this off this weekend with some nice cool weather!
.) Roast s’mores over a campfire. We checked this one off our list recently while in North Carolina. The kids can never get enough of number 6.

.) Decorate the house together for fall/Halloween. The kids had so much fun helping me to add bats on the mantle, and this year they helped me put together my new 12 ft tall skeleton!
.) Go trick or treating. We are counting down! The kids have their costumes picked out, and Matt and I cannot wait to take them.
.) Go tailgating at a football game. This is an easy one to cross off our list. We went to our first Memphis game of the season last week and will be going to a high school game this week. Cannot wait! Football (cheering) season is my favorite lol!

We already decorated the house for Halloween and even had our Halloween party last week! Clearly we are knee-deep in fall and all the festivities lol! What is on your fall bucket list? Which are your kids most excited about?
