Teddy Bear Holiday Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And our kids just love to bake and make all the treats at Christmas time! I saw this recipe with these adorable little teddy bear cookies, and I knew we just had to try them! We have already made them twice, and they are a new favorite around here. The girls had so much fun helping me bake them, and they all 3 had so much fun helping eat them lol!

Not only are these cookies so yummy, they are adorable and so easy to make too. Super easy for kids to help and so much fun! Next time I’ll have to try a gluten free version too so I can try some! They smelled so good! Keep reading for the recipe below.

Teddy Bear Cookies

Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 package sugar cookies
  • 1 package chocolate chip cookies

Method

  1. Refer to the cookie packaging for instructions. My oven cooks quickly, so I preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Open up cookie packages.
  3. Roll cookie sized balls out of both the sugar cookies and the chocolate chip cookies and place on the cookie sheet.
  4. Next roll slightly smaller balls of each cookie for the bear mouth and ears. Add sugar cookie onto the chocolate chip cookies, and add chocolate chip cookies onto the sugar cookies.
  5. Roll even smaller balls of each cookie to go on the ears. Add sugar cookie onto the chocolate chip cookies, and add chocolate chip cookies onto the sugar cookies.
  6. Cook per the package instructions. I usually bake for about 10 minutes because we like them gooey.
  7. One they are to your liking, take out of the oven and add 3 chocolate chips onto each teddy bear for two eyes and one nose.
  8. Eat while warm and gooey and enjoy!
