Last summer I transitioned Grayson to a big boy bed, a toddler bed. He has loved having so much more space in his bed at night. He loves us snuggling with him and “sleepovers” with me or Matt too. So…I decided to go ahead and upgrade him to an even bigger bed! I got Grayson a queen sized bed, and he absolutely loves it! Now we all have room in the bed to snuggle with him at night. He feels special and like such a big boy now, and my mama heart is happy. = )
The really cool thing about the bed is that the bottom lifts up for storage. That means you can store A LOT of stuff underneath the bed! That is perfect for Grayson since he LOVES to collect toys and all the things! We also have this awesome bookshelves that have really come in handy. I got them last year, and they have been the best purchase! They have cubbies and bins to hold books and so many of Grayson’s toys and other items. I’ve had the rug for a couple years and kept it because I love really love how it looks and pulls the room together.
This little bench is another great spot to store toys. I have it loaded with MagnaTiles, train tracks and other cars and toys. Bonus is that it looks cute too and is great for extra seating and even playing. He sometimes uses the top of it for a platform to build his Lego’s on. = ) What do you think about the room? I’m thrilled with how it turned out, and Grayson is too.
