There is truly no better way to spend a night in Memphis than at the Orpheum Theatre Memphis. From the historic charm to the incredible performances, it’s always one of my favorite nights out—and I’m so excited to share the newly released 2026–2027 Broadway season lineup with you! If you’ve been following along, you know I say this every year, but the 2025–2026 Broadway season was so good I wondered how they would top it. We still have two more shows left this 2025-2026 season, and I’m already looking ahead because the 2026–2027 lineup has officially been announced—and it does not disappoint either!
There are 7 shows coming to Memphis for the upcoming Broadway season, and while I do wish there was one geared more toward younger kids this year, this lineup is SO fun and feels especially perfect for date nights, girls’ nights, and anyone who loves Broadway. ’m already planning ahead (because you know I will be there!), and I cannot wait to take Leighton to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. But honestly, I’m excited for every single one of these shows. Check them out below!

- New, buzzworthy musicals, you will love BOOP! and Hell’s Kitchen.

And I haven’t seen ANY of these shows before, so I’m glad they will all be new to me!
Tips for Attending a Show at the Orpheum Memphis
If you’re planning to go (and you definitely should!), here are a few quick tips:
- Book tickets early—some of these shows will sell out fast (especially Harry Potter). Ticket dates will be announced this year, but haven’t been released yet.
- Consider season tickets if you plan to attend multiple shows.
- Arrive early to enjoy the historic theater, get snacks and drinks and avoid rushing.
- Make a night of it—dinner downtown + a show is always a perfect combo, There are several amazing restaurants within a block away.
I always say this, but experiencing Broadway shows right here in Memphis is something really special. The Orpheum continues to bring such an incredible lineup year after year, and this season is no exception. I never went to the Orpheum until I was in college, and now I make sure to go to most every show each year. And I get my children involved early too. All the kids started going when they were about 4. I think it’s such a great idea to introduce them to theatre and the arts at a young age.
Which show are you most excited to see this season?
