After I got this plaid top a few weeks ago, I starting thinking about pastels and wanted to style an outfit wearing pieces that are typically reserved more for spring. We had temperatures in the 70s earlier last week, so it was the perfect time to wear this outfit. I love pairing plaid and stripes together, and I think this lightweight Surfdome skirt works perfectly for warmer days in the fall. I think this outfit has a nice, casual, carefree feel to it. Now it’s in the 20s, but it was nice while it lasted. I guess it’s definitely time for the holidays. I think it is finally starting to sink in that Christmas is almost here (even if I’m dressed like it’s spring.) Do you like to wear pastels in the fall?

You look great ! I'm always so afraid to mix patterns but I like seeing others do it because it motivates me! I do love plaid though, I have so many shirts with plaid and flannel!!
