I hope everyone had a great weekend!  On Saturday I hung out with my mom for the day.  We had lunch at Coffee in the Attic in Covington, and I had the most amazing chicken salad for lunch.  I paired it with the best compliment, hot chocolate.  Perfect lunch!  After that, we did some shopping, and I found the most beautiful vintage turquoise pictcher for only $12!  It matches my kitchen perfectly, and I can’t wait to use it next spring and summer.  Sunday Shane and I went to Hope Church together, and they sang one of my favorite songs, 10,000 reasons.  We grilled out that night, and then my weekend was made when one of my professors postponed our presentations for a few weeks.
Today Bethany and I wanted to show you a couple different ways to wear boots for fall.  There are so many different kinds of boots, and so many different ways to wear them.  They can quickly dress up or even dress down an outfit.  Bethany paired her gorgeous knee high boots more casually with denim, plaid and a blazer.  Make sure you stop by her blog to check out her outfit details!  I love Bethany, and we recently got to meet in Dallas and do one of our favorite things together – shop.  = )  I took a dressy tulle skirt that is hard to wear in everyday life, and then dressed it down by pairing it with gingham, leather and my new favorite booties.  The booties helped to balance the dressiness of the skirt and make this outfit much more wearable for everyday life.  I’ve been needing some gray booties, and these are the perfect ones to go with everything!  For sizing, they run true to size.  Now, I’m just needing some knee high gray boots too.  I can see myself wearing these booties with leggings and lots of dresses and skirts. The perfect topper to my outfit was my beautiful Favery necklace.  I have been wearing it nonstop.  It is one of those gorgeous pieces that goes with anything and really makes a statement without being over the top.  I can honestly say that Favery is one of my new favorite sites.  They have some of the most amazing jewelry designers on their site.  Before I visited Favery, I hadn’t heard of some of them, but I promise you that once you stop by there, you will fall in love with almost everything.  My necklace is made from Bee Charming.  They have some great unique statement pieces including some gorgeous crystal rings.  Today I have teamed up with Favery to giveaway a $50 credit to their site.  To enter, all you need to do is:
1.  Visit Favery here, join their free site and then leave me a comment telling me your favorite item.  Good luck on finding only one thing though!  = )
