Red Colorblocking

I have always loved red, but for some reason it has been almost non-existent in my closet.  I recently hit the red jackpot at Riffraff though when I spotted this gorgeous red faux wrap dress and these amazing colorblocked pumps!  Today’s outfit was inspired by this outfit that I wore a few weeks ago on a date to Texas de Brazil with Shane to celebrate my promotion.  I have been loving wrap style tops and dresses lately.  They add some interest to the outfit, and not to mention they are extremely flattering.  I don’t know if you have noticed but I try to wear a lot of v-neck items with long necklaces as they are both elongate your body, and I can surely use that!  This dress will also be perfect for Christmas and will still be great for Valentine’s Day!  And these pumps + colorblocking = the way to my heart.  What is that one color you’ve been wanting to wear but have been shying away from?

Today I want to introduce you to one of my new sponsors, Jessica from Love & Loyally.  I love Jessica because she is a sweetheart, has a great sense of style, has a yorkie too and is also a fellow Tennessee girl!!  Her blog Love and Loyally is a blog about life, style, and southern charm.  It’s where Jessica talks about all things that she loves.  You’ll find style tips, outfit inspirations, beauty favorites and little tidbits about her life.  She might also try to convince you that southerners are as charming as they come (and I have to agree, though I might be a bit biased.)  = )  Please stop by Jessica’s blog and give a big southern welcome!
