Girly

I don’t know if it’s allergies or a cold, but Shane woke up Monday sick, and then I followed suit waking up Tuesday sick.  It’s not too bad though, but I’m ready for this weather to pick a temperature and stay with it for just a little bit.  Hopefully we’ll be better by this weekend though because we have a wedding to go to and a baby shower.  I can’t wait; it will be a good reason to spend time with family this weekend!Today I’m teaming up with the gorgeous and fashionable Jade from a Spoonful of Style!  Jade also hosted the Trend Spin Linkup a while back, and we have been wanting to work together ever since then.  Jade makes me regret cutting my hair everyday, and she almost makes me miss my light blonde hair too.  We wanted to show a couple of ways to wear girly looks today.  We both have pretty girly style, and you can usually always catch us in a dress or skirt.  After yesterday, I’m sure you know my love for tulle skirts!  I also have those same Zara pumps and absolutely love them!  I love the soft pink hue of her top and how everything is soft and neutral.  Make sure you stop by Jade’s blog to see her beautiful outfit details.

For my girly look I decided to wear my new Big Star USA dress as a skirt.  I just got this dress in, and I am in love with the bright geometric print on it.  I love wearing dresses as skirts to make an outfit look completely different.  I paired it with one of my favorite Ann Taylor silk blouses and my new wedges I got on eBay.  I also have to mention my beautiful Chloe & Isabel toggle bracelet.  I think it is the perfect bracelet that will go with anything.  I love finding pieces I can wear with most anything – stretching that dollar!  And speaking of stretching that dollar, I also have to mention that the heart ring I’m wearing is only $5, and I think they only have 1 more in stock right now, so hurry!  Happy Thursday everyone!!
