Summer Basics – 28 Pieces under $50!

I had a request on Instagram, so I’m doing 2 posts in 1 day!  I was asked to help find summer basics for someone on a budget.  My main summer basics would be tank tops, oxford shirts, lighweight camis, a denim jackt, a canvas jacket, a striped tee, sleeveless tops, chambray, shorts, skirts, maxi dresses, wedges and sandals, versatile handbags, scarves and statement jewelry.  I have put together 5 outfits here running vertically using 28 pieces.  Every single piece is under $50, and most all of these outfits are interchangeable.  For instance, not only can you wear that gingham shirt tied up over a maxi dress to make the dress work duty duty as a skirt, but you can wear the top with the yellow city mini skirt, the denim shorts, the pink shorts, or even pair it with the floral shorts using pattern mixing.  Did you see how that worked?  Don’t be afraid to mix things up and pair things together that maybe you normally wouldn’t.  You should be able to get a lot of use out of each of these items, and your wallet will thank you.  Which items pictured would you pair together to create an outfit?
