Oh My Chic + Pearls & Linkups

Happy Friday, woot woot!  My sweet little nephews have been sick so we never got to go celebrate my brother’s birthday last weekend, so we’re going tonight.  I’m so excited because I haven’t seen my SIL and my youngest nephew since Christmas!!  So…if you see a zillion pictures of me and some cute little boys tonight on Instagram, you’ll know why.  And just so you know, this birthday for my brother means that I’ll be 30 in 5 months; where did the time go?!  Don’t forget to enter the 5 giveaways this week here, here, here, here and here (<– this one is for a $200 Tiffany & Co. Gift Card!)  Did you get all that?  Is this thing on?

Modcloth Have a Ball Earrings.  $9.99.  These are my new favorite pearl earrings, and I ended up getting them for free with a $15 off coupon!  They are gold with white pearl clusters.

Shane and I went to Pearl’s Oyster House in downtown Memphis on Wednesday, and it was so good.  It’s one of my favorite seafood places in Memphis.  Sorry Shane had already eaten a couple before I could get a picture.  I used to hate the texture of raw oysters years ago, but now I love them.  If you don’t like raw ones though, you should definitely give their chargrilled ones a try – so good, and they’re only $1 per oyster on Wednesdays and Sundays.  50cents per raw oyster on Monday.

Steamed crab claws, steamed shrimp, steamed mussels and sausage.

And now for the 1 and only Mrs. Holly’s linkup. What’s in yo fridge. Well, you can tell by my pictures below, not much, ha! Don’t get worried. I don’t have kids yet, so I promise (sort of) that I won’t starve my children when I have them one day. For now, Shane and I prefer to eat out fo dinner. We love cooking breakfast food at home, especially for brinner!

Basically condiments, fruit and a few veggies (that are probably rotting as we speak.)

Have you met Alicia from Brew Loving Mama yet?  She is a mom to 5 kiddos and a full-time student.  We like to talk about our love/hate relationship with school sometimes.  She won my giveaway for the Red Heart Bracelet a couple of weeks ago.  Stop by and say hello if you get a chance.  = )

  1. Super cute outfit as usual 🙂 I have never gone to Pearl's before so I need to try that. I tried oysters for the first time in PCB this summer though and I actually really liked them. They were steamed with Parmesan and other seasoning on them, very yummy!

  2. I'm here from the link up! Love your blog, I love the Peabody in Memphis, visited there when my parents lived nearby (Dyersburg). LOVE TENNESSEE!!

Your fridge looks sad, that's for sure, but that's the joy of being young and not yet having kids…enjoy it, and make your hubby take you out for dinner instead!

  3. Multiplayer versions is more exciting as in this, you'll be able to team up or even contend with other participants to defeat the enemies. If you don’t have much skill in programming, but still think that creating and developing games is the most suitable for you, there are special courses that will give you training in graphic designing, game development, and computer animation. Next Jim Deacove developed a few of his own board games based on the principles of cooperation, group strategy and joint problem solving.
