Happy Friday!  I’m a little behind on my post today, but I just got back from traveling all week.  It feels so good to be back (just in time for the weekend.)  Leighton was SO surprised to see me today.  She kept calling for Shane, and then I walked into her room instead.  = )  On to the office now.  You probably remember my office reveal here, but I’ve still been tweaking a few things here and there.  After spending so much time and work on all the large pieces like a desk, bookcase, shelves, rug and bench, I’m a little embarrassed to say I almost completely forgot all the little touches.  Though they might just be minor details, they are what really complete the look.

I’ve been working the last couple weeks on adding these finishing touches around my office, and focused on cute shelf decor items.  I got 2 of the 4ft little artist shelves, so that a lot of space to cover really.  I decided to go with 3 new prints for my top shelf – a flamingo print, a pineapple print and a foil print.  I thought I loved how the office looked before, but I love this so much more now.  I think that with these shelf decor items, the shelves look so much more balanced than they did before.  These prints really complement each other.  The ones I had decorated the shelves with previously were just a melting pot of all the ones I had ordered mixed with some I already had.  I think these shelf decor items look so much more complete, and I love the fun, bright and metallic prints.
