The Perfect Pair of Velvet Booties

I am obsessed with these velvet booties and have been wearing them nonstop since I got them.  When I spotted these Steve Madden velvet booties, I loved them so much that I actually bought them in 2 different styles!  They’re sold out now, but these and these are very similar, and these embroidered ones seriously have me swooning!  I don’t know about your town, but in Memphis it is spring one day and winter the next, so I haven’t quite packed away my sweaters yet.  Some days a lightweight knit sweater is the perfect piece.  Mine is sold out, but I’m loving the pretty open back on this sweater.  This past weekend was a little rainy and dreary, but it actually felt pretty nice outside.  We took Leighton shopping together on Saturday, and boy did we learn our lesson!  She is at the age where she seriously wants everything – I’m talking shorts, shirts, shoes, jewelry, hats, purses and toys!  We walked out of there spending about 5 times on her what we spent on ourselves.  She needed plenty of spring and summer clothes for preschool so it worked out.  But I think she might actually be like her mama at least in 1 way.  = )  What did everyone else do this weekend?  Have you jumped on the velvet booties bandwagon yet?
