Leighton and I took these pictures a couple days ago when it was still quite dreary, cold and rainy.Β  As much as I hate the rain, cute matching rainboots do make it just a little better!Β  I found these adorable floral print rain boots for Leighton that matched her print mixing top.Β  I love that both her top and her boots have striped and floral patterns on them.Β  And then I spotted some similar floral print rain boots for myself.Β  And that was all the convincing I needed to get them.Β  I mixed my floral print rain boots with a plaid top, a super comfy poncho and beanie from Joules.Β  I have been a big fan of Joules for years (remember when I wore this pretty Joules dress to announce my pregnancy hereΒ or this adorable top and vest?), and their style is still just as preppy and classic with a touch of modern to it.Β  Joules is sort of like a British J.Crew in my opinion, but with the added bonus of the cutestΒ matching rain boots for mom and daughter!

    Can't resist a good pattern mixing – love the plaid + floral, and even better when you've got a mini me in coordinating boots! I would be very tempted by the floral + stripe shift from Joules, but would probably end up just getting my kid a bunch of cute stripey rain boots…

    I feel like rain boots are such a necessary item in the spring wardrobe! Yet, I still don't own a pair. How crazy is that? These are absolutely adorable! If I'm planning to get a pair anytime soon it will definitely be these.

    You guys look so adorable in your rain boots! I've always wanted a pair. I would get a pair of ankle rain boots for myself- I like the black ones, and a pair for my 3 year old little boy who loves to stomp puddles!! Thanks for the chance, love your blog.
