Trend Spin Linkup – Chic

I love a good trendy piece as much as anyone, but what I REALLY love and what really fills my closet are great investment pieces that I can wear season after season, year after year.  Those are the pieces that I catch myself reaching for often because I can see the time and the quality that really went into making them, and they actually last.  Those are my favorite pieces to invest in because they never go out of style either.  Cuyana is all about fewer and better things this holiday season.
Cuyana has a gorgeous collection of scarves, capes, sweaters, laptop sleeves, belts, purses and more in beautiful neutral tones and fabrics like silk, wool, cashmere, leather and suede.  They are the perfect investment pieces to give (and get!) this holiday season for those special friends and family members.  Who wants another plaid blanket scarf (don’t get me wrong, I love them, but sometimes I want something more special) this Christmas when they could get a cashmere scarf that will still be in style for years to come?  I am wearing their pretty gold bar belt today, and I feel like it is just the epitome of chic and class.  And you can bet I have SO many of their bags and sweaters on my wish list this Christmas.
I paired this pretty skinny belt with my fringe sweater skirt (last seen here) and this pretty cape jacket from Shop Dress Up.  I picked this jacket up in Nashville last week, and I see it coming in handy so much this holiday season even into NYE and Valentine’s day.  It’s the perfect piece to pair with dressier looks when it’s a little chilly outside this fall and winter.
