I love florals on most anything, but I think a floral print dress has got to be my favorite. It just has such a breezy, feminine look to it. Keep reading where I’m sharing my favorite spring floral print look and some tips on how to wear it.
There are big florals and there are little floral prints, and I genuinely love them both. You know I always love a good statement, so I tend to do one statement or the other. Since my dress has a small floral print on it, the print can be kind of busy. That is really my statement in terms of color and print. So I kept the accessories neutral in color. I love how they really accentuate and show off the dress.
I paired my dress with these sandals, this bag and this hat. They are all solid colored and create a pretty and cohesive look while still keeping the floral print as the main focus. My hat does has a small gingham print on it, but is is in a pretty brown and white, and it coordinates really well with the floral print. I definitely didn’t have to pick neutrals to pair with my dress, but I would have stuck with solid colors at least.
Florals are also so fun on rompers, shorts, blouses, swimwear and even earrings. But you will always catch me in a floral print dress. = ) What do you think about floral prints? Do you think they’re fresh or outdatesd?
