Day to Night Series – Faux Leather Leggings

Welcome to the Day to Night Series!  Every 2 weeks I style a similar item with another blogger.  One of us styles it more casually for day, and the other one styles it dressier for night.  This week the item was faux fur leggings – one of my favorites for winter!  They are so comfortable, but they are chic and trendy too.  Carly from Lipgloss and Crayons dressed her leggings up by pairing them with a tunic, a long pendant necklace and some great booties.  I love the all black look.  It would be perfect for a date, girl’s night or shopping with your little one (which is exactly what I did too.)  = )  Make sure you check out Carly’s blog to see her outfit details!  I styled mine more casually for day by pairing them with a plaid blouse, a faux fur vest, some polka dot flats and my leopard print bag. I love all the print mixing, and this was the perfect outfit for getting out in the snow and doing some shopping with the girls.

And how adoralbe is my new Kidz Can Design bracelet?  I am just in love with it.  The design is from a plate that my mom painted back around Christmas time here.  Kidz Can Design took the design and turned it into jewelry, so now I have an adorable bracelet with the word LOVE on it, and the V is made from Leighton’s footprints.  I love looking at it throughout the work day because it brings such a smile to my face.  = )  They can turn any work of art into wearable art.  How sweet would it be to turn one of your child’s drawings into a piece of jewelry you can take with you every day?  I will definitely cherish it for years to come.  = )  Hope you all have a great hump day.  Thanks for stopping by!
