To help you celebrate V Day, I’ve teamed up with Jess Newquist, the owner of Antoillier Chocolates, to offer you an awesome giveaway this week that retails for $50!  Jess is a chocolatier with over 15 years experience in the culinary field.  After working up and down the east coast and training with amazing pastry chefs from the US and France it was time for her to branch out on her own.  She is very proud to anounce Antoillier Chocolates.  This chocolate line is 100% her own.  Every product is handmade and choosen with extreme care.  She doesn’t sell anything she doesn’t love, and she is excited about sharing her chocolates with the world.

Antoillier Chocolates as both a brand name and company combines Jess’ two favorite things, chocolates and the beauty in nature.  Antoillier is an old french word that means antler and is thought to be the origin of the modern word.  As a name it pays respect to her French training and techniques she uses, at the same time nodding to her love and constant amazement at what nature can do.  She just loves to create confections for people to enjoy.  Today you get your chance to win a $50 gift basket filled with gourmet chocolates from Antoillier Chocolates!!  What is your favorite Valentine’s Day gift to receive – chocolate or something else?  If you win the chocolate, will you keep it for yourself or give it as a V Day gift?

To enter, all you need to do is:
1.)  Make sure you’re following me via GFC.  Click the blue button on the ride sidebar that says “Join this Site.”
2.)  Leave me a comment saying that you’re entering for the giveaway.

Though it’s not required, it would be really cool if you would check out Jess’s Etsy shop and add it to your favorites.  You can also follow her on Twitter and Instagram.  Please and thank you!

A delightfull mix of treats for the Chocolate lover in your life. This cute basket includes 1/2 pound of Spicy Mexican Toffee, one Oversized Raspberry Heart, and a 12 piece Valentine’s Day Box. The Valentine’s box includes 6 pieces of Champagne bon bons and 6 pieces of Rose water bon bons. More photos of these treats are available in the individual item listings.

The extra large oversized chocolate and raspberry heart measures about 3 inches across. The center ganache is fair trade 40% milk chocolate combined with fresh raspberries and a touch of cream and butter for a taste that is fresh and tart as well as creamy and smooth at the same time.  This beautiful heart is covered in dark chocolate, striped with pink tinted white chocolate and then hand foiled in the perfect shade of pink.  As if all that wasn’t enough this confection is placed in a wooden cigar style box and tied with a burgundy bow, ready for gifting.

The Champagne squares are filled with a dark chocolate and champagne ganache with a touch of butter and cream.  They are decorated with a lace imprint on top.  Very dark, very rich, and very delicious.  The rose water ganache is made with the finest milk chocolate and rose water imported form India.  The tops of these squares are dusted with a powder of dried rose petals for an extra floral touch.

The Spicy toffee is based on traditional American Toffee and Jess’ grandmother’s recipe but with a new and exciting twist.  Artisanal and handmade gourmet toffee.  Made from fresh simple ingredients with no additives or preservat ives.  Perfectly crisp, beautifully golden and the ideal combination of salty, sweet, and spicy. The toffee is made from creamy butter and natural sugar, then studded with crushed corn nuts and swirled with a special blend of chillis and hot sauce.  Both sides are coated in 55% dark chocolate and crushed tortilla chips.

Remember that beautiful Loft bracelet I gave away a couple of weeks ago, well Terri from Peace, Love & Applesauce won it, and below is a picture of her wearing it.  Love the colors she paired it with!  Be sure to check out her blog.  She is always posting such cute outfits and making me jealous of her nail polish painting skills!

  1. Following via GFC as karmakaytlyn.
I don't have any specific thing I like getting for Valentine's Day, other than some time with my partner.
If I won this delicious looking chocolate I would share it with my partner as an after dinner treat, so I would keep it and give it away in a sense.
Please enter me in the contest.
Thanks from karmakaytlyn (at) yahoo (dot) com.
