Neon & Neutrals – Chippmunk Summer Fun Steal + Meshka Design Giveaway!!

Happy Friday!!  I have a weekend full of studying and have decided the only way to study is to do it by the pool, so that will be my weekend.  I’m also hoping to get in a trip to the farmers market tomorrow, a run and a bike ride.
Today I want to talk to you about Chippmunk.  I never ever go shopping without first checking to see if there are any store or online coupons, and one of the ways I do that is by using Chippmunk.  Chippmunk is an online coupon site that will show you different coupons for stores based on your budget.  You select your budget, or you can select exactly which store you want to shop at if you already know.  Both of the pieces I’m wearing today were bought using Chippmunk supplied promo codes or sales information.  The Loft romper was $69.50, but I used the Loft Chippmunk page to find out that they were having 50% off every item in the store last week.  I also love ASOS and had been eyeing their satchels for a while.  The ASOS Chippmunk page alerted me to a huge savings that ASOS was having on their leather satchels, so I decided it was the perfect time to get it!   I originally had been eyeing the satchel at J.Crew, but this one was about half the price!!  I ended up saving $98.43 on the purse and $34.75 on the romper!
I had been wanting a romper for a while but was still a little nervous about trying one out (yes, it’s because babies wear rompers.)  Getting this one in a nice, neutral color helps.  It makes it to where it doesn’t stand out too much, but you can easily throw a bright colored purse or heel to add a pop of color if you want.  I could also see myself throwing a sweater over it and wearing it into the fall with some boots.  With the 3/4 sleeves, it could definitely be worn year-round.  That is one of my biggest pet peeves; I try to make sure that more than half the items in my closet can be worn year-round.  It just helps me stretch my budget even further.

    YAY! The romper!! I really love it on you, Laura! Especially with that neon bag (I mean, there is NO way you could wear an all neutral outfit, right?!) And I adore those heels. I can't wait to see other ways you wear this romper…I bet with a fun belt or some type of layering. LOVE LOVE!!

    If you actually paid for the romper and satchel, why did you mark it "c/o"? That generally means a product was gifted to you by the brand. How can they be "courtesy of" loft and asos and be purchased with Chipmunk coupons?

      The people at Chippmunk were nice enough to reimburse me a certain amount of money for these items that I purchased for the contest. That is why I listed them as c/o so that I am following all guidelines and being honest with my readers to let them know that they were courtesy of someone. Chippmunk shares promo codes and sales information which lowered the price significantly. I hope that helps to explain it a little better. ; ) Thanks for stopping by!

    I love the nude/neon combo! The heels are fabulous! I think my fave Meshka Design clutch is the one reserved for Natalia. lol I never knew about Chippmunk and I almost feel sorry for my wallet now that I have!

    i totally agree — studying by the pool is the only way to go! love that romper — I want to get one but haven't gotten the nerve to do it yet. I love the sleeves on this one!

    Well good thing you finally tried out the romper because it looks fantastic!! This is definitely the best one I've ever seen. I also thought that bag was from Cambridge Satchel Co. from afar. I love it- especially since it was only a portion of the price! Thanks for sharing this info about Chipmunk. I keep hearing about it but haven't checked it out yet. Now I will!
