Jelly’s Are Back!

I grew up in the 80’s, so it is probably no surpriseΒ how excited I wasΒ when I recently heard that Jelly BeansΒ were back.Β  I used to have them in an array of colors, but I think the pink or clear sparkly ones were by far my favorite.Β  They come in black, blue, red, pink, clear and sparkly clear.Β  I am wearing the clear pair today, but honestly I am kind of wishing I would have picked theΒ sparkly ones this time (some things never change.)Β  = )Β  When I first heard thatΒ Jellys were back, it definitely brought back a lot of memories.Β  If you’ve ever had a pair, I don’t think you can think of Jelly Beans sandals without thinkingΒ fondly of your childhood.Β Β An image of My Little Pony may or may not have even popped into my head also.Clear andΒ lucite jewelry and accessories has been making a huge comeback over the last year, so itΒ is perfect timing nowΒ that Jelly BeansΒ are back.Β  I think they will be perfect for summer, and you can even throw them in your beach bag and take them to the pool.Β  I think we can see that they can easily be worn with most any casual outfit, so I wanted to dress mine up just a little more to show how they are even more versatile than you might think.Β  They make a cute skirt, fun Poppy & Dot neon polka dot topΒ and aΒ statement braceletΒ perfect for daytime wear.Β  I think Jelly Beans never go out of style no matter what your age, and I am secretly wishing for a little daughter one day so I can get her a pair too.Β  = )

    Wait, WHAT??! I thought I saw these in a store the other day, but then I thought…that can't be true! You are rocking them, but I honestly don't know how I feel about this trend yet!

    I LOVED my jellies! I had several pairs but I remember wearing the glitter ones to death! Now I have a more adult appropriate pair of slip-on jellies I got at BCBG a couple years ago and I still love them as much as I did when I was little!

    Your polka dot top is so adorable! And I really need to grab that skirt, maybe it will go on sale soon. Personally, I wasn't a fan of jellys the first time around, and I have seen them on some bloggers, I just can't get the 5 year old flashbacks out of my head! But you look fantastic in everything!
