Good morning!  We’ve almost made it to the weekend.  I’m looking forward to my first Stella & Dot Trunk Show tonight and hopefully lots of sunshine this weekend.  Last night Shane and I went and met some of our friends for dinner to celebrate their daughter’s third birthday.  We couldn’t believe how quickly she has grown up.  It seemed like no time ago when she was just a baby.  First of all, Shane is not working this weekend, woohoo!  Second of all, I hope for us to just slow down, relax and spend some time with friends, family and Spike and Lola.
Today I am teaming up with Amber with Real Girl Glam and Tara with Penniless Socialite to who you a few different ways to style white on white.  Make sure you stop by Real Girl Glam this Friday to linkup your white on white look too!  I have been wanting more breezy summer tops that I could also wear as a coverup, and I recently found this one on sale an additional 40% off at J. Crew.  It is cotton gauze and will be great for the rest of the summer.  I dusted off my Gap skinny mini khakis to pair with the top (and apparently show my fat knees off.)  = )  In person the pants are bright white, but in the pictures they look more ivory.  The more I look at them though, I kind of like that they aren’t too matchy matchy.  For a casual summer afternoon look, I paired it with my Hayden Reis beach bag (that constantly stays packed and ready to go to the pool.)  I am planning on using it this weekend and am keeping my fingers crossed for no rain like we had all last weekend.  Hayden Reis is also offering free shipping to my readers today through August 15 with the code Memphis.  They are also now offering monogramming for $15, and I’m already envisioning new bags that I need from there with a cute monogram on it.

 

You may have noticed the beautiful Gorjana necklace I’m wearing in the pictures above.  I had been wanting one of their pieces for a while, and I just recently happened to receive it from the List.  The List is a monthly subscription service for fashion and beauty items.  I had been seeing some of these programs for beauty products and some for fashion items, so I was excited to learn that the List incorporates both into their gift bags.  They have 3 different bags – the Starter ($59), the Soho ($129) and St. Barth’s ($389).  I was sent the Starter bag which included a gorgeous pair of Walter Baker silk shorts, the beautiful Gorjana necklace, a bottle of Priti NYC nail polish in a beautiful coral pink color, Herban Essentials towlettes, Comodynes tanning towels and Miss Jessie’s soft curls formula to help get rid of frizzy hair.  The items came to a total retail value of over $216!  Everything I received is perfectly me.  I love shorts, bright fun prints and silk.  The necklace is very delicate, but still makes a statement.  And have you heard about the humidity here in Memphis and what it does on our hair?  After I joined the list, I just filled out a quick profile so they could best pick the items that they thought matched my style the best.  I was asked to choose from Upper East Side Princess, Soho Chic, Brooklyn Cool and Easy California.  I actually selected all of the above (because you know I am all over the place sometimes in the way I dress.)  Then I checked the box to let the List decide which style they thought fit me best, and they hit the nail on the head.  I love all of my items, and you will be seeing me wearing these shorts on here very soon.  I will also be giving an updated review on the rest of the products as I continue to use them more over the next couple of weeks.

    Love all of her bangles and the double flower ring. I have several olio pieces and they are beautiful, I find myself wearing them all the time! Marti M
