Workday Dress

You recently saw me wearing this dress to work on Instagram last week.Β  I didn’t wear these heels with it to work, but I just got these new Zara heels in, so I just had to wear them today!Β  IΒ haveΒ talked about it some before, but I work in a corporate office and have to dress up.Β  I am not really a dress pants kind of girl, so IΒ wear dresses or skirts everyday, except on Casual Friday!Β Β To me, dresses and skirts are so much easier to wear, and they’re more comfortable too.Β  Not to mention, they make you lookΒ  polished and professional at work without too much effort.Β Β I have always tried to “dress for the job I want to have.”Β  On here, IΒ show you a lot of outfitsΒ that I wear after work or on the weekends, so I thought it would be nice to throw in a few looks that I actually wear to work like this one here.Β  Most of the other outfits I wear on here, I will wear to work but just wear the skirt lower instead of high-waisted, or I will swap out the blouse for a different color (I don’t want to blind them too much at work with my neon!)Β  I try to include a good varietyΒ of different types of outfits for different types of events.Β  Are there any more types of outfits you would like to see?Β  More work outfits?Β  More casual outfits?Β  How do you dress for work?

    Love the dress! I try to dress for the job I want, not the job I have, even though i don't know what job I want! I also just like to play dress up πŸ™‚ I'd love to see how you do actually wear the outfits to work. Maybe one photo of that with the photos of how you style it outside of work?

    Loving those heels! The dress as well, but especially the heels! πŸ™‚ It's funny; I work in an office too but I am the opposite. I have worn a dress to work once in my almost three years here. I don't really know why I don't wear more dresses! To me, pants are more comfortable, keep me warmer in the freezing AC, and I don't have to worry about showing too much walking clients up and down the stairs. I have come to love colored Paige Denim skinnies because they fit so well and don't look like jeans. πŸ˜‰

    This dress is beautiful! And those Zara heels are amazing! Love this look. I like how you mix work and weekend outfits on your blog, so keep it up! Its also fun to do a work/weekend mix…like that shirt from last night. Do a dual post on how to transition 1 top from work to fun! πŸ™‚
