In all fairness I did warn you that I was going to try to think of as many excuses to wear this tulle skirt as I could. I wore it a couple of weeks ago paired with metallic and emerald, so this time I wanted to take the girliness a step further and pair it with this sequin top from Sugar Love Boutique and even more metallic. We took these pictures downtown on Beale Street outside of Silky O’Sullivan’s, and I definitely got a few strange looks. What – you don’t wear your ballerina skirt on Beale Street? I can say that I wish I would have taken some shorts too so I could have joined in with the Beale Street Flippers. It was a fun location to take some pictures, but it was hot outside that day. I kept wishing they were selling slushies or fresh squeezed lemonade at the bar windows instead of just beer. If I had this skirt years ago, it would have been fun to wear this outfit to our wedding rehearsal or maybe even the reception. I can guarantee you that you will definitely see even more of this skirt when the holidays get nearer – think plaid, fur and booties! And I just couldn’t resist wearing it with some of my favorite Marshalls finds – these metallic heels and clutch.
