I am so happy it’s Friday! This week has actually flown by, and I am looking forward to having a school free weekend! Saturday we are going to our nephew’s last baseball game of the season, and then on Sunday I am hoping to finally get my kayak out for the first time. We’re supposed to have pretty good weather, so I’m thinking it is going to be an outdoorsy kind of weekend. What are your plans?
It’s no secret that I love maxi dresses, but instead of the super casual jersey cotton versions, I wanted to show you a couple different ways to style a maxi that is a little dressier. Outfit 1 is a more casual option with a cropped denim jacket, mirror aviators, a fun coral colored watch, a crossbody and gladiator sandals. Outfit 2 consists of a lightweight, linen cardigan, a statement watch and bow ring, a floppy hat, mint wedges and a scalloped handbag. Either look still has a casual feel to it, but outfit 2 is a little dressier. You could even pair a button-down over the dress and tie up the ends to transform the dress into a skirt too. For a cool vibe, pair with a white moto cropped jacket. Which look is your favorite – 1 or 2?

I love this maxi dress! I have a hard time finding maxi dresses because they're either strapless (not my favorite) or lack structure, but this one is fantastic! I just bought those mirrored aviators, and I'm a little obsessed.
