Go Long

Over the last couple months I have been using the new Dove hair care products – Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo, Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Conditioner and Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Treatment.  This was my first time trying these products, so I was excited to see how the African Macadamia dry oil would work on my hair.  I usually shy away from using anything on my hair or skin that has the word “oil” in it because I’m scared it will make my hair or skin oily.  This was definitely not the case with these products.  They actually made my hair feel silky and soft, but in no way greasy or heavy.  I have long and thick hair so I am one of those people who needs moisture at the ends of my hair but not at the roots.  I used the shampoo as you normally would, and then I used the conditioner and oil treatment only from where I would grab my hair to put in a ponytail – from there down to the ends.

What I love best about these products is that they didn’t make my hair feel oily, just silky and smooth.  One of the biggest hair styles this year is still long and natural looking.  I love wearing loose waves, and the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil products help make sure my hair looks smooth and healthy.  These products are great on all hair types too, so they work just as great on short hair as they do on long hair.  If you’re ready to have silky hair, make sure you try the Dove Silky Hair Dare.  Right now Dove is daring women everywhere to try Dove Pure Care Dry Oil risk-free now through December 31.
