Thanks for stopping by today! With all the snow and ice we’ve had over the past week, my internet has been down so I apologize for going M.I.A. I’ll be sure to make up for it this week with a couple of great giveaways – the first one being today. Make sure you also follow me on instagram
to see other updates (including a sneak peek of Leighton’s 4 month pictures!) = )
I was just recently introduced to a new company, Ruby Ribbon
. In case you haven’t heard of them before, Ruby Ribbon is a social commerce company that has women’s clothing that both slims and flatters the shape. They have 3 very distinct lines: fashion, shaping essentials and shapewear. Their award winning shapewear has been a hands down winner for comfort, and I can completely vouch for that as well. You might have seen them and their awards in magazines such as Self, Woman’s Day, WSJ, Health, Glamour and Pure Wow.
I have never ever tried shapewear before so I was excited to see what I thought about it. I decided to style 2 of my favorites pieces from their line today – the cami
and the leggings
. The cami
from their shaping line honestly allows you to say goodbye to your underwire and takes an inch off your waist line. It also truly stays put and won’t ride up. That was something I actually had to see to believe, and they weren’t lying. I normally tuck my camis in because they always roll up underneath my blouse, but this one is actually made to stay put. They also have pants and leggings that elongate the leg and slim the tummy. I styled the jeggings
from their shaping essentials line, and I can honestly say they are the most comfortable pair of leggings I’ve ever worn. I felt so comfortable in them, but still pulled together. They made me wish I could talk my bosses into letting us wear leggings to work. I could see myself living in them everyday. Whether you’re looking for shapewear, shaping essentials or just fashion wear, they have got you covered. Today I’ve teamed up with Stephanie from Ruby Ribbon to give away $75 to spend on her site. Which item would you choose from Ruby Ribbon
if you won?
