Mint & Fuchsia

I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!  That means we are that much closer to the weekend, and I cannot wait!  This Saturday is the Miracle Baby Party at the Memphis Zoo hosted by Fertility Associates of Memphis, and Shane and I are taking Leighton.  Infertility is one of those things that so many people go through, but not many people ever talk about it.  Shane and I thought we were the only people we knew trying to have a baby for 7 years, and then we only knew of 1 other person going through IVF last year.  We are looking forward to meeting more people through this event, and it’s so good to know that we weren’t alone (even though we felt like we were for so long.)  So many more people than you ever thought of go through infertility.  This will be such a fun day to thank our doctor, Dr. Brezina and to meet other people’s sweet little miracles.  And Sunday… it’s my first Mother’s Day.  I don’t know what we are doing yet, but I am excited to see what Shane has planned (hint, hint honey.)  = )  What is everyone else’s plans this weekend?
Back to my outfit.  = )  I just bought this shirt at Gordmans a few weeks ago and have worn it at least twice since then.  I’ve worn it with white denim, leggings, shorts, a pencil skirt to work and here with destructed denim.  I think it has such a fun and pretty mint and blue pattern on it.  It is definitely on repeat.  What’s on repeat in your closet this week?

  1. Can I just say that I'm in LOVE with your heels?! Those are so cute, and such an adorable color! I'm jealous… my husband is kind of short, so I don't wear heels because I don't want to look taller than him. But when I see heels like yours I almost rethink whether or not I actually care about being taller than him anymore! haha 🙂

Anyway, I just found your blog and I'm your newest follower. I'm loving your style, and I love reading blogs from other moms as I just joined the mom group six months ago when I had a little baby boy!

Can't wait to read more from you!
