We kept getting rained out for Leighton’s 12 month photos, but we finally snuck these pictures in a few weeks ago with Emily.Β Of course, now she is 13 months old.Β = )Β It stopped raining just long enough to get all of these, and it was a little overcast so the lighting was just perfect.Β I can’t believe how much she has changed in a year.Β You can look back on her newborn pictures here.Β = )Β I know I say this each month, but I think these are definitely some of my favorites so far.Β I just love her little personality, and I love that she is finally standing in her pictures!Β She is getting so close to walking too.Β She takes about 5 or 6 steps by herself, but then she gets down and crawls the rest of the way.Β Β Her favorite way to get around right now though is by holding ontoΒ my one pointer finger while she walks all over the house.Β It is the sweetest and cutest thing.Β She is going to be a climber and a daredevil for sure.Β Β I caught her climbing up on our bed, sitting down, and then climbing back down by herself yesterday when she didn’tΒ know I was watching.Β She loves to climb on anything and throws her little leg up to get up on anything.Β She is going through the picky eater phase right now, but hopefully it will be a short phase.Β She has shortened her morning nap to 1-2 hours now and then takes an afternoon nap for about 2-3 hours, so she’s still napping about 3-4 hours each day about the same time.Β She is still sleeping 8pm to around 8am.Β Β She is down to about 12oz of breastmilk per day.Β She still eats like a full grown man too.Β She can almost eat more than me and Shane!Β She is such a fun little girl, and I love watching her explore and get a little more independent each day, but I still love that she still needs me (for now at least.)Β What phase is your little one in right now?Β What do you recommendΒ getting a will-be 14 month old for Christmas?
