Silhouette

I’m so excited to finally be sharing Leighton’s silhouette with you today.  My mom had silhouettes made for my nephews when they were little, and when I saw this modern version of the silhouette on Minted’s website, I knew I had to have one.  It was a tough choice to decide which color though.  Immediately, the neon pink stood out, but then I realized that I had no hot pink in my entire house, and that probably wouldn’t work (plus Shane would think I was crazy.)  Then I fell in love with the neon coral, rose and the frosted mint which all would have worked in Leighton’s room or her play room.  I finally settled on the neon yellow which works perfectly in Leighton’s bathroom.

I love the modern take on the silhouette in a modern white wood frame with the option to have the text foil pressed or letterpressed.  Don’t laugh, but I even thought about getting one made for Spike and Lola.  How cute would that be?  These make the perfect Christmas gifts too.  I’m still secretly wanting one in each color made of Leighton each year for a gallery wall.  What’s on your gallery wall?  Have you thought about getting a silhouette made?
