How was everyone’s weekend?  Shane and I took Leighton to Kindermusic on Saturday which was a learning type class using music and dance.  It was so much fun.  She ran around and twirled in circles playing with a scarf, sticks and a parachute.  I definitely hope to take her back soon.  Then on Sunday we went swimming at the indoor pool at the Y.  She hasn’t been to the pool in 5 months since summer so it was nice to finally do that again, and Leighton loved it just as much as she always has!

With her new beanie, Leighton wore the most adorable little dress from Remie Co. dress.  It is the softest cotton dress, and I love the built in print mixing with the floral and stripes.  Leighton has FINALLY moved up to a size 3 in shoes, so she was finally able to wear her pretty butterscotch Freshly Picked moccasins (don’t forget to enter the Freshly Picked giveaway here that ends in a couple day.)  We have had this pair since before she was born so I was excited to finally put her in them!  I was told they would fit her when she was about 6 months old, but she’s 15 months old, and they’re still a little big.  I’m pretty sure she is going to have small feet like me.  = )
I couldn’t resist matching Leighton so I wore my favorite black skinnies that fit like a dream with an adorable striped oversized tee and this soft fuzzy scarf.  I’m also wearing my new Daniel Wellington watch.  Shane and I have matching ones, and I love how they can easily look more casual or more dressy with the leather band.  If you’re looking to finally pull the trigger and get a Daniel Wellington watch, make sure you use code LAURA15 to save 15% off your purchase.

    I love your little's dress 🙂 I picked a similar striped one- the popupship maritime dress. But there is also a really pretty dress from Nico Nico Sage Dress Regal (this is the navy one but the rose/coral and pink colors were nice too.) I think we would get more use out of the maritime dress.
