With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I’m talking about one of my favorite online sites today, Uncommon Goods.  I first heard of Uncommon Goods 4 years ago when flipping through a magazine trying to get some good ideas for what to get Shane for our anniversary.  (Our anniversary was in January, so we just recently celebrated 9 years last month.)  I wanted to get him something special and unique, but still practical.  That was how I found out about Uncommon Goods.  They are all about the uncommon.  They are the best site for unique gifts, jewelry and even home décor.  They make some of the best anniversary gifts if you’re guy really isn’t into ties or the same old, same old.
With Valentine’s coming up this weekend, now I’m on the hunt for Valentine’s Day gifts from Uncommon Goods since he has loved all the other gifts I’ve gotten him from there over the years.  If your man loves golfbaseball  or the guitar (my pick for Shane!), they’ve got you covered.  They’re not just for the guy in your life either.  They have some of the most unique, dainty and quirky jewelry out there.  I am wearing their pretty talisman ruby ring since ruby is my birthstone.  My grandma used to buy my a ruby ring each year for my birthday when I was little, so I couldn’t resist this grownup version.  I’m also loving all the necklaces they carry right now.  I don’t know what it is about being married or a mom, but I just have to collect necklaces with my monogram or mine and Shane’s names or even Leighton’s birthstone on them, and they definitely have some great necklaces that are perfect for moms and wives too.  Have you heard of Uncommon Goods?  What are you on the search for this Valentine’s Day?
