Babble Band

Shane was out of town a couple of weekends ago, and because I’m such a scaredy cat, Leighton and I stayed with my mom for the weekend.  = )  My mom doesn’t have a baby monitor, so I decided to bring my new Babble Band to her house to test it out while Leighton was sleeping.  My mom has been complaining about wanting a baby monitor at her house for as long as I can remember, so I knew this would be a good and very inexpensive option.
One of the toughest adjustments after having Leighton was feeling like we couldn’t just go as we pleased anymore.  It definitely took some getting used to for both me and Shane.  We were used to just going wherever whenever we wanted at any time of the day or night.  We love to be outdoors whether it’s in the front yard sitting on the porch, lying on the hammock in the backyard or just playing with the dogs outside.  We felt like we had to stay right by her room while she was sleeping just to make sure she was okay.
The Babble Band is the only wearable baby monitor on the market right now.  While it’s definitely not safe to go to far, it is nice to have a little more freedom.  We were able to sit out on the front porch, walk the dogs in front of the house and water the flowers outside knowing that she was sound asleep in her crib.  Babble Band is an audio baby monitor that comes with a bracelet that you can wear.  It was perfect to wear on short walks with the dogs.  It has a range of 800ft.  This monitor definitely gave us the peace of mind we had been looking for.  It also gave us the freedom to go outside and know that if Leighton needed us, we would know.  Have you tried Babble Band?  What has been your toughest adjustment with motherhood?
