Happy Friday! Leighton and I are spending the day together today, and as soon as Shane gets off work, we are planning on heading to the lake to spend Memorial Day weekend there. We plan to grill out, eat sandwiches on the boat, do some waterskiing and swimming and take lots of walks at the park. Going to the lake and having some fun in the sun is our favorite way to spend the long holiday weekend.
Leighton will be decked out in her red white and blue from Gymboree all weekend long. I love that she can also wear these adorable outfits on Independence Day and Labor Day to get even more wear. We already have a couple smocked dresses that are red white and blue, so I really wanted something casual for this weekend that she could run around and play in at the park. We're spending Memorial Day swimming and grilling out after I work Saturday and Sunday (nurse life!). We'll also put flags out in our yard with my 3 yr old son. I saw a cute red/white/blue rash guard and shorts from Gymboree that would look cute on my son.

I was in Gymboree last weekend & took total advantage of their sale! I got Ella & Olivia matching outfits – in that I bought the cutest floral pom pom shorts for Liv & the matching peplum style floral top for Ella. I can't wait to see them wear them together!
