10 Places You Must Visit While in Las Vegas, Nevada

Dress (sold out, love this one and this one!) // Sandals c/o // Bag c/o // Watch c/o // Sunglasses
I just got back from Vegas a few weeks ago, but it already feels like months ago.  Back to reality I guess.  This was my third time going to Vegas in the last few years, so today I wanted to share some of my must visit places if you’re planning a trip to Vegas.  Honestly, the weather was great, there was great breeze, there is lots of good shopping, great restaurants and plenty of pools.  It is the perfect place to visit for a couples or girls’ trip.  Until next time Vegas.
1.)  Tour Hoover Dam.  You just have to take the damn dam tour.  Sorry, I love me some Chevy Chase!  And while you’re there, make sure you get a chance to…
2.)  Visit Lake Mead.  It is one of the largest man-made lakes in the Western Hemisphere and is such a pretty sight.
3.)  And because a trip to Vegas isn’t complete without it, you just have to take a picture in front of the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign.  It is iconic, and your snapchat friends will love it.  = ) (@walkinginmem)
4.)  You have got to check out the Stratosphere thrill rides.  They are SO much fun, and yeah, maybe a little scary too.  But, they’re definitely worth it!  Not a thrill seeker?  Then at least go up to the observation deck.  The view is one of a kind!
5.)  Make sure you check out one of the Bellagio Fountain shows.  We watched one to the music of Thriller, and it was so much fun.  The lights, the water.  You can’t beat it.
6.)  These were really listed in no particular order because if they were, watching a Cirque du Soleil show would have been number one.  And even more specifically, go watch O.  I’ve watched it twice from the 2nd-4th rows, and it is 100% worth the money every single time.  Best show in Vegas.
7.)  A lot has changed over the years in Vegas, but Fremont Street will make you feel like you’re walking back in time.  Visit Freemont Street.  Or better yet, maybe even zipline down it.
8.)  Ride the High Roller observation wheel.  When I first went to Vegas a few years ago, they were building the world’s tallest ferris wheel right out my hotel room window.  It opened in 2014, and it is a definite must visit.
9.)  Drink…or maybe even eat a frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity 3.  Half hot chocolate, hot ice cream, but 100% delicious.  It is huge though, so you could definitely get the small.  = )
10).  Take a Gondola ride at the Venetian.  It’s not quite Venice, but that doesn’t make this any last fun.  After all, you’re in Vegas.  Eat, drink and gondola.  = )
Have you been to Vegas before?  What are your must visit places in Vegas?

  1. Oh my gosh those sandals are so freaking cute – love them! Haven't been to Vegas in a few years but definitely need to see a Cirque show next time I go. And I've had the frozen hot choc before and it seriously is amazing!

  2. The fountain shows at the Bellagio are gorgeous! And I love roller coasters so I have to say that I really liked the NY NY ride. We didn't do the Stratosphere thrill ride so maybe next time! We did visit Hoover Dam and thought it was cool, but we did that on the same day that we saw the Grand Canyon and there's just not much that compares with the majesty of that place. So awesome! πŸ™‚
