The 90’s are Back

Who didn’t love the 90’s?!  I mean come on – some of the coolest things I had in the 90’s were the Clueless movie, a Sony Discman, a Gameboy, Beanie Babies, a desktop computer where I could play Solitaire on Windows ’95, AOL, Silly Putty, Lisa Frank and the “Rachel” haircut.  If that didn’t take you on a trip down memory lane, I don’t know what will.  Well, you know how everything repeats itself every couple decades?  Well, they’re back.  Chokers have been so big this year, and with fall here, you will see them even more paired with velvet and suede and pretty shades of wine and navy.

This adorable choker I’m wearing today from Lexie’s is the perfect way to try out the choker trend, especially at only $8.  I’ve been wanting to try this trend for a while now, but I wanted to find one that was a little more unique than some of the ones I’ve been seeing.  This double layer choker is made of a pretty and delicate floral like pattern with another layer that ties in a bow.  I think it adds just the perfect touch to this outfit without it looking too “costume-y” (like I’m auditioning for Clueless, though I totally wouldn’t be opposed to it. ☺)  I paired this cute little accessory with my trench vest from Lexies (on sale!), my new velvet skirt I bought on Black Friday and these adorable faux fur pom heels.  What do you think about the choker trend?  And just for fun, what was your favorite thing about the 90’s?
