Last Friday I got the chance to be pampered…so of course I said absolutely, sign me up! This mama doesn’t normally get too many chances to have a spa day (or even just a few spa hours!) The Peabody Memphis is the THE hotel in Memphis. We have some absolutely great hotels in the area, but this one is the grandest, and is the epitome of Southern history and charm. Shane and I go every so often to have a little staycation or dinner, but it had been quite a while since I had visited the spa in the Peabody Memphis.
If you haven’t been to Peabody Memphis in a while, you might not even know that their spa recently changed to Feathers Spa. This spa does everything, and I mean everything there. From facials, to makeup, to hair, to nails and even to massages, Feathers Spa really is a full service spa right here in the heart of Memphis. I was treated to balayage hair coloring and makeup application. I love the lighter hair color that my stylist decided on, and the makeup was just natural enough with a bit of a bold smokey eye. I think I could definitely get used to all this pampering. I will definitely be visiting again, and I’m already excited to be getting a couples Ashiatsu massage there with Shane soon. They’re actually the only spa in the area that offers this service!
After hair and makeup, my mom and Leighton met me for a little while. We stopped by the deli in the hotel, and let me tell you, they are so much more than just a deli. They are known for their desserts. Cookies, chocolate covered strawberry, cupcakes. It all looked so amazing. Leighton had her heart set on a little duck cookie, so we let her have a rare treat. It was worth it though just to get a few sweet pictures of her thoroughly enjoying herself. βΊ
