Eeek, happy Valentine’s Day everyone!  This is really the first year that Leighton is starting to understand holidays, so it has been exciting.  We made lots of healthy snacks and sugar free cookies together over the weekend.  We had a lot of fun, and it was exciting starting new family traditions with her.  Shane and I were going to go out to dinner this past weekend to celebrate, but we decided to postpone it for this coming weekend when every restaurant in town isn’t packed.  I’m kind of glad we did that because now we still have something fun to celebrate and look forward to!
I have had this poncho for a while, and it’s still one of my favorites.  It’s sold out, but this poncho here is almost identical.  I love the soft fabric and the pretty tassels.  I got a lot of use out of it around the holidays, but I think it’s still perfect to wear for Valentine’s Day too.  I paired it with one of my favorite white tees.  I think I had 6 day hair in these pictures, so cue the hat.  Leighton and I wore out favorite matching boots here and here.  I am obsessed with these boots.  I have them in black leather too, and they are hands down my favorite flat boots to wear.  And now that we have matching pairs, they definitely rank at the top of my list.  I just got this pretty plaid dress in from Josset Designs and think it is just precious.  I have always had a love for plaid, especially in winter!  What  did you do for Valentine’s Day and what did you wear?  Linkup your Valentines Day outfit and make sure you check out the featured bloggers below.  xo.
