This office update post is sponsored by Hunter Fan Company, but all opinions are 100% my own. Thanks for helping me to support the brands I love.
Since we moved 4 months ago, I’ve been knocking each room out one by one. I just redid my office recently though, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on any big home décor changes. I loved all the furniture I had recently bought, but I just wanted a little update here and there. Today I’m going to share some of my favorite ways to update your office without spending a fortune.
5 EASY IDEAS FOR YOUR NEXT OFFICE UPDATE
1.) Swap out accessories like throw blankets and pillows. This is one of the easiest and least costly options. It’s also perfect for when the seasons change.
2.) Add small home décor objects around the room. I got some new picture frames, candles, vases and trinkets. And when I say new, I mainly mean new to this room! I just took them from other spots in the house and swapped them around to give the room a fresh new feel without having to go out and buy new objects.
3.) Add a plant or flowers. This is always such an easy fix. I’m not going to lie, I keep fresh flowers (or plants) in at least 4 rooms in my house at all times. They always brighten things up!
4.) Swap around your pictures, photos or gallery wall. If you can change the pictures in a frame, add new ones. If you can’t, maybe try positioning them differently on the gallery wall to give the room a little change. = )
5.) Give your ceiling fan (and lighting) a facelift.
You may not think that a ceiling fan would make that much of a difference in your office update, but let me tell you, it does! I have actually never been in love with a ceiling fan more. I picked out this gorgeous Brunswick ceiling fan with 4 lights from Hunter Fan Company. I immediately fell in love with the grey oak fan blades and the black horseshoe irons on the blades. I think it gives it a modern rustic feel with the industrial yet traditional details.
The Brunswick fan comes with so many options to customize it. You can get it in different sizes, colors, and the blades are reversible. It is the perfect whole home solution. You can stick with one ceiling fan for your entire home if you want to have a cohesive look, but you can just pick different colors and sizes to change it up in each room. Ceiling fans aren’t just for the living room and bedroom you know!
This ceiling fan comes with 4 LED bulbs that can be dimmed, and you can control the lighting and fan speed with a remote too. The fan also comes in white and can even be bought in an outdoor style to finish decorating your patio or porch. Fans are perfect for every room in your house.
Such a cute office, I love all the updates! We are going to be making one of our rooms into an office, so these easy updates are so great! Also, in our house ceiling fans are a must, so love it! Thanks for sharing.
