27 Top Gift Ideas for Babies + Giveaway!!

Best gift ideas for babies featured by top US lifestyle blog, Walking in Memphis in High Heels

Happy Friday!  My sweet friend Heather and I are sharing our baby gift guide today.  We’ve rounded up our very favorite baby gift ideas for the mamas out there.  My sister recently had a baby, so I’ve been reading up on all the best new baby gear items!  And make sure you scroll down and read to the end because we are giving away a bunch of our favorite items, including a stroller!

27 Best Baby Gift Ideas:

Ubbi Diaper Pail – I  LOVE this diaper pail! Some of my favorite things about it are that it uses any bag, so no buying expensive, special bags. Also, it is a shorter height, so it was nice that Leighton could easily throw away her own diapers and pull-ups when she started walking. : )

Dr Browns Bottles– These bottles are hands down my favorite ones! They are great bottles to help prevent gas, acid reflux and tummy issues by having the milk flow slowly.

Aden & Anais Dream Blanket – If you haven’t tried Aden & Anais blankets yet, you’re missing out!  They are SO soft!  I mean SO soft!  They are thick and the perfect size to grow with your child!

Aiden & Anais Crib Sheet – Just like the dream blanket, the crib sheet is SO soft! Of all the muslin cotton bedding I’ve tried, Aden & Anais is my favorite!

Serta Crib & Toddler Mattress – This is the mattress Leighton had in her crib, and I loved how comfortable it was while still being sturdy. I feel like it was such a good mattress, especially for the price! And you can use it for years to come when you transition your child to a toddler bed too

Lalabu Soothe Shirt– I cannot say enough good things about this soothe shirt! It was such a lifesaver when Leighton was little. She hated being put down (she still does!), and the only way I could work, cook and clean the house during maternity leave was to soothe her in this shirt. I highly recommend it for new mamas!

Fisher Price Swing – I borrowed this from a friend when Leighton was about 7 months old, and I wish I would have gotten one SO much sooner.  I promise, it would have been worth every penny!  This was the only way I could sometimes get a free minute when Leighton was little.

Sophie Teether – This was one of Leighton’s favorite teething toys.  She used it until she was over 1, and she even used it during bath time.  I don’t know what it is about Sophie, but babies just love the shape!

4moms High Chair– We’ve tried a lot of different high chairs, and this was definitely our favorite.  It was so easy to clean, to take the tray off with one hand and to clean  also,  I loved that it had steps so Leighton could climb up it herself. It made her feel like such a big girl!

Summer Infant Monitor – This is another product that I have tried SO many of!  And Summer Infant is the only brand of baby monitor that I ever use anymore.  They are the best!  They have a huge touchscreen.  It zooms and pans and tilts.  You can turn up or down the volume, talk through the monitor, check out the temperature in the room and brighten or dim the monitor.  The temperature feature is great for little ones in the winter especially!

Bumbo Seat – When Leighton got a little older but couldn’t sit up on her own yet, the bumbo seat really came in handy! They’re great to give you a few hands free moments to yourself too  : )

Fisher Price Play Mat – This was Leighton’s favorite play mat.  She loved kicking it and playing the piano.  And the piano would also detach to play it when she got older.

Boppy Nursing Pillow – This was another lifesaver.  I breastfed for a year and a half, and my arms would get so tired!  This boppy really came in handy!  Leighton also loved to prop up on it during tummy time some.

Summer Infant Tub – This tub will carry them from infancy to toddler.  I love the mesh part.  It is so easy to bathe your little one in this tub, and I love that I didn’t have to immediately buy a new one when she was older.

Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit– This magic sleepsuit really was magic for us! Leighton started sleeping 12 hours at night every night and taking 2 2 hour naps once I put her in it. She used it until she started rolling over in it, but I got about 6 months of use out of it (and sleep!!) And once I transitioned her out of it, she already had great sleep habits and kept on sleeping great every night. It is definitely worth trying out! Make sure you purchase through this link to save 15%!

Maxi Cosi Stroller– I have tried a lot of strollers over the years, and Maxi Cosi has been one of my favorite brands! I love how convenient and high quality all their products are (including their car seats!) We have a Maxi Cosi car seat and love it. And honestly I still put Leighton in a stroller sometimes (like at Disney World.) It’s an investment, but I definitely got my money’s worth.

Lucy Darling Closet Dividers – These Closet dividers don’t seem like a big deal but they really are. When you realize how quickly kids grow, you’ll be glad you have them to separate out the different sizes. It keeps them organized better, and you don’t overlook any clothing you might have missed without the dividers.
