With each child, I feel my hair and body change SO much. My hair texture has changed a little, and I feel like I’ve really been having to work even harder to add some volume and life into my hair.

With a third little in the house, I’ve been taking a lot harder look at the products I put in my house, in my mouth, on my body and give to each of our children. One of the things that I love about Sprouts is that I know I can always trust the brands and products I find there!

Avalon Organics® Volumizing Rosemary Shampoo and Avalon Organics® Volumizing Rosemary Conditioner formulas contain organic ingredients, are vetan, and cruelty free. Their bottles are also made from 100% recycled materials. In addition to the formulas containing organic ingredients, being vegan and cruelty free, the products really caught my eye because they are specifically made to add volume to your hair. And they also have one of my favorite herbs in them, rosemary.

They are made with rosemary essential oil, quinoa protein, calendula, aloe and vitamin E. Not only do they give your lifeless hair volume and life, but they also condition and seal the hair cuticle for thick, full bodied hair with healthy shine. You know the saying “you are what you eat”? Well, the same holds true for your hair!

Having healthy hair isn’t something that just happens; it’s something you work at…just like anything else. So today I wanted to share some of my best tips for getting your hair healthy and keeping it that way! All it takes is a little work, and you’ll start noticing longer, stronger and shinier hair in no time!

1.) Brush your hair before you wash it. When your hair is wet, it is much more prone to breakage! Save your hair that “break” and detangle while it’s still dry. Bonus, it will help make it so much easier to get your hands through it while shampooing and conditioning and once you’re out of the shower.

2.) Protect your hair from heat. That includes heat from hot tools and heat from the sun! UV rays can cause damage to your hair, just like it does to your skin! Protect it with a hat whenever you can. Bonus, it’s great to shield your face too. And those heat tools can be game changers, but use a heat protectant spray so your hair doesn’t break as easily.

3.) Get a trim. Protect those ends from breakage so your hair can grow longer and stronger! Getting a trim also helps make your hair looks so much healthier almost instantly!

4.) Invest in silk. Using a silk pillowcase helps reduce friction between your hair and the fabric of your pillowcase. And a bonus?? They feel amazing!

5.) Know what you’re putting in your body and on your hair! We already watch what we put in our body, fueling our body with the best foods. The same is true for the outside of your body and hair too! Makeup, skincare, haircare. What you put on it is so important!

Eating a balanced diet with rich healthy vitamins is so good for your body…and for your hair! That is why I love using Avalon Organics® Volumizing Rosemary Shampoo and Avalon Organics® Volumizing Rosemary Conditioner made with botanicals found in natur. It is so much better for me, for the environment and for my hair.

Watching what you’re putting in and on your body isn’t always easy though. It can get pricey, but right now you can get $3 off my new favorite shampoo and conditioner. It makes it a lot easier and more affordable to live a cleaner and more organic lifestyle. Win win!

If you’re looking for a new shampoo and conditioner that not only makes your hair look amazing and can make you feel good about the products you’re using and putting on your body, make sure you pick up Avalon Organics® Volumizing Rosemary Shampoo and Avalon Organics® Volumizing Rosemary Conditioner at Sprouts or Whole Foods. Have you tried them? What are your best tips for healthy hair?
