Y’all have heard me talk about one of my favorite boutiques in Arkansas, Darling’s Fine Things. The owner, my friend Jamie, is wonderful, and she carries some of the best brands and a selection of women’s clothing and gifts. I am always sure to find way too many things when I shop there! Recently I paid a visit to her and scooped up this pretty outfit – including these summer shorts – from her store.
The brand of the top is Emily McCarthy, and I always love her pieces! They are colorful and classic, yet they have a modern twist to them. These shorts I’m wearing today are called party shorts, and they are essentially culotte shorts. I love them! They are so flattering and comfortable. I have them added to my wish list now in almost every color! And they are so much more comfortable than denim shorts lol!
I paired my summer shorts with this pretty floral print top that pairs perfectly with them. They also look just as great with denim or even a skirt. I love that these pieces can be worn together or as separates and look so great! This is the perfect casual summer day outfit! What are some of your favorite styles of shorts for summer?
