I just got back from my first trip to Sea Island, and wow the hotel and views were just stunning! The weather was great, and this hotel and area are so unique. If you’re looking for a luxury coastal trip, you don’t to go far. Sea Island has everything you need! I was so excited to finally get to cross this gorgeous town off my list. It won’t be my first time or my last. I was in town for the Southern C, so I definitely packed some dressier, more glam looks than I typically would for here everyday. But I wanted to share what I did pack. = )
Mary Kate and I arrived at the Cloister an entire day before the summit to check out the resort and enjoy ourselves. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away with the entire look and feel of he hotel. They have everything you need there too. They have several restaurants and bars. Plus, they have an incredible 2 story gym, a wonderful spa and tons of outdoor activities. I can’t wait to share more about the resort soon, but until then, check out what I packed for my work conference below.
What to Wear in Sea Island, Georgia
The hotel where we stayed, the Cloister, and the area has a very upscale coastal vibe, and the attire most people wear is stylish and coastal. During the day I wore some of the more casual dresses, and then at night for dinners, I wore my more glam outfits with heels. One night there was a cowgirl theme, so I threw on my favorite Lucchese cowboy boots.
On the second night, there was a silent disco, so I packed my pink sequin dress, sequin booties and fringe jacket. This worked out well because I had just picked out all of these pieces for an event in Memphis this past weekend that had a Studio 64 theme. I love when you can wear a good outfit to several events, woohoo! I feel like all the outfits came together just right, and I can’t wait to share some outfit pictures and all out my trip soon.
