Last weekend I celebrated with my favorite girls and their spouses at Tiger & Peacock in Memphis, Tennessee. If you’re in the area, you’ve probably been to Tiger & Peacock before. And if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?! There is no other spot quite like Tiger & Peacock. It is a rooftop lounge and bar in Overton Square in The Memphian Hotel. It is the perfect location, just walking distance to so many great dining options and things to do. It’s the perfect place to stay in Memphis for a unique night out.
Tiger & Peacock serves eclectic small plates and craft cocktails. Every corner was decorated with an emphasis on bold colors and eclectic art. It perfectly blends upscale with whimsy in the best possible way. This spot was the absolute perfect location for our Valentine’s Party. I love the fun vibe the entire hotel and bar boasts. And they even have a pink champagne room complete with disco ball. The mood was vibrant, upscale and full of personality.
Tiger & Peacock also has an outdoor rooftop when the weather is nice. Between this, the bar filled with bold animal decor and the perfectly pink champagne room, I knew that Tiger & Peacock was the perfect atmosphere for a little party. We ordered several plates like charcuterie and cheese, oysters on the half shell, deviled eggs, flatbread and poke tacos. Everything we ordered was so good! They may not have a big menu, but what they have is incredible! It all pairs perfectly with their signature drinks. And if you’re looking for a little heavier of a bite, you can always head downstairs to Complicated Pilgrim. They have a wonderful dinner menu.
Because you can’t celebrate without some sweet treats, we had the prettiest cake from Smallcakes Collierville. I am in love with the candy hearts, the two-tone colors and the fun little boys on the cake. It looks like this cake was made for this room. = ) This wasn’t our first time going out to Tiger & Peacock, and it definitely won’t be our last. Anytime we are looking for a night, this is always top of our lists. It’s a perfect place to take anyone to show off some of the best spots that Memphis has to offer.
