15 Favorite Coffee Shops for Coffee and Vibes in Memphis, Tennessee

Y’all know I love my daily coffee, and I’ve been on quite the quest lately to try out several more coffee shops in the Memphis area to add to my growing list of favorite coffee shops. It wasn’t hard to do though. Memphis has some awesome coffee shops, and new ones still keep popping up! Barbecue better watch out; I’m thinking we could really contend with other coffee shops in other cities too. = ) Check out my top 15 list of coffee shops to try in the Memphis area and let me know which are your favorites too.

Belltower Coffeehouse – Located at Shelby Farms, this coffee shop shouldn’t be missed. The coffee is great, and we love this area and the vibe so much. Go for a stroll, paddleboarding or even bike riding afterwards.

Cafe 127 – Our new coffee shop in Collierville that just opened last year. If you have kids, this is your new coffee shop. They have a play area on one side, and it’s great for kids up to about age 8 or so. Wonderful if you have some work to do or want to meet some new mom friends. Definitely recommend!

Cafe Eclectic – One of my oldest favorites in the area. Make sure you grab breakfast while there too, yum!

Carrington Oaks Coffeehouse – Another great coffee shop in Collierville. They also have some great pastry items, and even gluten free muffins. They are in a cute little spot in Collierville, and it’s usually pretty quiet and not crowded here. Love the atmosphere to meet with a friend or get some work done.

City & State – One of my favorites when I’m in Memphis. The lattes are foamy and creamy, and they even have the cutest little gift shop. It’s located on Broad, so it’s the perfect area to grab some coffee and do some exploring, shopping, dining, etc. while in the area.

City Silo – The have great coffee, and you won’t want to miss their food too. Love their tacos and gluten free bakery items. Yum!

Comeback Coffee – A super cute coffee shop in downtown Memphis with good coffee and plenty of room inside for working or visiting with friends. And it’s within walking distance to lots of great spots downtown.

Congregation Coffee – It’s a great spot to grab a coffee, sit indoors or outdoors and work or gather with friends. They have a large space that is just perfect. And they also have some small pastries and food items, including gluten free options too.

French Truck Coffee – Three Memphis area locations, French Truck Coffee is a favorite around here, and for good reason. Good coffee, and who can resist that bright yellow logo? It draws you right in. = )

Hustle & Dough – Located in Arrive hotel, this spot has some seriously good coffee. Trust me, it is anything but “hotel coffee.”

JoJo’s Espresso – Another Memphis favorite located in Germantown, and they just recently opened up their new and bigger location! They have my top 3 best tasting coffee overall in the Memphis area.

Levee Coffee & Creamery – Located in Collierville, they have great coffee! The also have ice cream and pastry items. The kids love stopping here for ice cream and treats, and I love grabbing coffee while here.

Memphis Chess Club – Come grab some coffee, eat and play chess while here. Definitely a neat spot!

Ramblin’ Joes Coffee – There is a location in Memphis and 1 in the airport too. Not only do they have seriously good coffee, they have such an awesome staff too! I always have the best experience there, and it’s nice to get good coffee, even while at the airport.

Square Beans Coffee – As far as taste goes, this is my favorite in Collierville! This cute little coffee shop on the square has been around for over a decade, and it’s easy to see why. It’s the perfect cozy little spot to grab some amazing coffee, a bite to eat and catch up with a friend. It’s so good! And before I was gluten free, I absolutely loved getting their quiche while I was there too.

Have you tried any of these coffee shops yet? If so, which is your favorite? Any good ones I need to add to my list too?
