One of the things that makes this resort so appealing is its location away from the busier areas of Gulf Shores. You can enjoy the beautiful beaches and slower pace of the Alabama Gulf Coast while still being close enough to venture out and explore the area.
The resort sits directly along the Gulf of Mexico, so you’re just steps away from the gorgeous white-sand beaches and beautiful coastal views. I love staying somewhere that makes it easy to spend the day by the water without having to pack everything up and drive to the beach.
Beachfront Condos at The Beach Club Resort & Spa
One of my favorite things about The Beach Club Resort & Spa is that it offers spacious beachfront condos instead of traditional hotel rooms. This makes it such a great option for groups of friends or families who want a little more room to spread out and enjoy their vacation.
The condos feature full kitchens, living areas and private balconies, with different layouts available depending on the size of your group. Having a kitchen and comfortable shared spaces is especially nice when you’re traveling with several people. You can enjoy coffee in the morning, get ready together and spend time catching up without everyone having to squeeze into a hotel room.
For our girls’ trip, having a beautiful place to relax between activities was just as important as everything we had planned. Sometimes the best part of a getaway is having nowhere you need to be! This time we stayed in a 4 bedroom condo, but we have stayed in their 5 bedroom condo too. They have several different options, and they all come with balconies too. Each condo varies just a little, but we have honestly been so impressed with each one we have ever stayed in.
The Beach and Pools
Of course, one of the biggest reasons to visit The Beach Club Resort & Spa is the beach! The resort offers direct access to the beautiful white-sand beaches of the Alabama Gulf Coast, making it easy to go back and forth between the beach, pool and your condo throughout the day.
There are 5 outdoor pools and hot tubs throughout the property, so you have plenty of options when you’re ready for a break from the sand. Whether you prefer spending your afternoon lounging by the pool or walking along the shoreline, it’s easy to enjoy a full day outside without leaving the resort.
I especially loved how the beach and pools offered such pretty backdrops for our girls’ getaway. There is something about a few days by the water with your favorite people that makes it easier to slow down and enjoy the moment.
Restaurants and Coffee at The Beach Club Resort & Spa
Another great thing about staying at The Beach Club Resort & Spa is having dining options right on the property. When I’m on vacation, I love having the option to grab something to eat without getting dressed up and driving somewhere every time we’re hungry.
The resort offers a mix of sit-down dining and more casual options, making it convenient whether you’re planning a nice dinner or just grabbing something between activities. Coast is our favorite spot for dinner. They have amazing seafood and steak.
And of course, we had to make time for coffee! The Village Hideaway is a great spot to grab your morning coffee or something casual to eat. It’s also home to the only coffee roaster on Fort Morgan, which makes it a fun little stop during your stay. There’s nothing better than starting a beach morning with a good cup of coffee before heading out to enjoy the day. There is also an ice cream shop and a pool bar.
Spa Services and Resort Activities
The Beach Club Resort & Spa offers so much more than just the beach and pools. One of the things I appreciate about a resort like this is that you can plan an active vacation or spend your entire trip relaxing.
The property offers tennis, pickleball, volleyball and a fitness center for anyone who wants to stay active. There are also spa services available, which are always a welcome addition to a girls’ getaway!
You’ll also find shopping and resort activities on the property. Having so many options in one place makes The Beach Club a great choice for families traveling with children of different ages, couples looking for a relaxing getaway or friends who want a little bit of everything.
Is The Beach Club Resort & Spa Good for a Girls’ Trip?
Absolutely! Our trip was proof that you don’t have to plan a packed itinerary to have a wonderful girls’ getaway. Between mornings with coffee, afternoons by the beach and pool and evenings spent catching up, it was such a nice opportunity to enjoy time together.
We spent our days enjoying the resort and all the little things that make a girls’ trip special. Matching pajamas, cozy robes, lots of laughter and a little extra time to ourselves made this getaway one to remember.
I also love that The Beach Club offers enough activities and amenities that everyone can enjoy the trip their own way. Some people love spending the day by the water while others want to explore, get a workout in or book a spa service. It’s nice to have options without needing to leave the property.
