A Day of a Paleo Diet

Leggings c/o // Bra c/o // Tank Top c/o // Shoes // Watch c/o // Scale c/o
You might remember me raving about my new fitness tracker watch by Withings here recently.  I am so happy I finally decided to join the many other people who use fitness trackers because they really are such a great motivator.  They keep me accountable.  They serve as a reminder.  They’re like that little string that you can tie around your finger reminding you to workout more, but it also tells you how many steps you took each day and how well you slept.  I recently started using Withings Body scale which syncs to your watch also.  It tells your weight and fat mass.  You can set goals in the Withings app, and it will track and analyze all the data from your watch and scale.  I love seeing my progress each week and easily being able to track it all on my phone.  And if I didn’t mention it earlier, the reason I chose Withings fitness tracking watch is because it uses a regular watch battery.  No charging your watch every night…or ever for that matter.  It’s been 3 months so far, and my watch is still going strong.  = )
Y’all, it has been 7 weeks since I’ve been eating paleo, and I feel better than I’ve felt in a while!  The hardest part is getting past that week or two of your body adjusting and getting used to not having the sugar and carbs.  I’m so glad I just decided to finally go for it again because it really makes all the difference.  I’ve had a few people ask what all kinds of things I normally eat while eating paleo, so I thought I would share some of my favorite meals and snacks below.  They’re all pretty easy to eat, and you can even get quite a few of them at restaurants too.  Don’t be afraid to ask a restaurant to sub olive oil when cooking or hold the cheese and bread off most of the things on their menu (like burgers, salads, etc.)  You can tailor most anything to still make it work, and I promise it’ll be worth it.

  1. I'm a big fan of your leggings, but I will say I try to stay away from diets because I ALWAYS feel like I'm forcing myself not to eat something and I would honestly rather just have the freedom to eat it you know? Your menu doesn't sound too far off from what I'd enjoy eating, so not too bad!! Love the post + you look fab in your workout attire! xx Adaleta Avdic
