This UpSpring Shrinkx belly band review is sponsored by UpSpring, but all opinions are 100% my own. Thanks for helping me to support the brands I love.
We are officially settling into newborn life over here and things have been hectic but oh so much fun! Since we haven’t had a baby in the house for quite some time, it’s been a bit of a learning curve. But, we’re getting through it as best as we can.
Now that we’ve had a little time to settle in, I’m finally getting a chance to think about getting back to feeling like myself again. Postpartum takes a toll on a mama both mentally and physically. The mental load of a brand new mama is something I could say a lot about but today, I wanted to talk about how taking care of yourself physically, postpartum can be just as important.
The Benefits of the UpSpring Shrinkx Belly Band for Postpartum Recovery
Something I’ve been utilizing since Grayson was born were several postpartum recovery items from UpSpring Baby. I’ve been wearing the Shrinkx Belly Bamboo Charcoal Belly Wrap, and I’ve been noticing a big difference in my postpartum healing!
Some of the benefits of using a belly band for postpartum recovery include:
- Speeds Healing & Reduces Swelling
- Supports Abdominal Muscles
- Supports Lower Back Muscles
When you’re pregnant, your body stretches and grows to help accommodate that growing baby. Your organs and abdominal muscles move around to make space for the baby. But once you give birth, those organs and muscles need to get back into their correct places.
With the help of a postpartum belly band, it can help to gently pull those abdominal muscles back into place, which in turn will help support your pelvic floor and all those organs can find their way back into their places.
I’m so happy that I’ve been using a belly band and, like I said, I’ve noticed a big difference in my recovery, how I’m feeling and just overall helping to re-learn my body again.
Did y’all use any postpartum recovery products after giving birth? What was y’alls experience like?
No, I didn’t even know about belly bands, but this sounds wonderful. I will be passing this along to my pregnant friends and co-workers!
