Rockin’

Since I’ve been on a kick with finally starting to share some of our house projects lately, I wanted to finally show some of the progress on the front porch.  We have never really had much of a front porch.  We have always just had more of a small entryway, but the porch on this house is pretty long on each side, so we knew we needed something fairly large to fill up that space.  Shane and I love furniture and decor that makes us think of the beach (who doesn’t?!)  We knew we wanted some Adirondack chairs, but we have also talked around getting rocking chairs maybe.  As soon as we saw these adirondack rockers from DFOhome, we knew they were exactly what we had been looking for.  They are nice and sturdy, and they’re huge.  One can easily fit Leighton side by side.  I love the bright white, and they pair perfectly with my new outdoor pillows from Lulu & Georgia too.  They come in 14 colors including hot pink.  If only I could have convinced Shane of pink!  We have 2 of the rockers so far, and we eventually plan to get 2 more for our front porch  and some more of the Pawley’s Island collection for our backyard and patio.  Now I’m just ready for spring to get here so we can have some pretty green grass and we can sit outside and enjoy these rockers more.  P.S.  Use code BLOOM for $40 off your purchase of $399 and up from DFOhome right now.  How did you decorate your front porch?  Any tips or ideas as we are getting started?
