What’s in Your Purse Linkup?

When I heard Mel talking about a purse linkup with her and Erin, I just knew I had to do it!! I am also linking up with Lauren and Carly.  I love my suitcase, I mean purse!  I’m like Mel when it comes to my purse, it tends to be a bottomless pit, it is leather, Coach, I don’t keep many at one time, and I try to find one that I can wear most seasons with most anything!  I’m on a budget people!  I had a canvas purse a few years ago, and the dark blue from my denim rubbed off on my purse and stained it.  After that, I converted to only leather.  And who doesn’t love that real leather smell.  That must be how Shane feels when he gets in a new car with leather. haha!  I bought my Coach Flagship Handbag last year on eBay.  You can find some other Coach Flagship styles and colors on eBay here.

I feel like I carry a lot in my purse, but for some reason when I dump it all out, it seems like less than I thought (or my right shoulder thought.)  I didn’t add or take anything out; this is exactly what happened to be in there today.  I carry every single bit of these items in my purse everyday with the exception of the bracelet.  I had it in there to put on today but forgot.  I carry my planner with me everyday.  One day I’ll switch to electronic…someday.  And my checkbook and pen.  Yes, I balance it online, but my husband likes to use his debit card about 20 times per day, so it is a necessity to attemp to keep it balanced.  Remember I’m a numbers dork who works in the Credit department.  I always have at least a couple different pony tail holders for when I go to gym.  I have my camera flash and my Square app card swiper.  You never know when you will need to send money with a debit or credit card!  I never realized how many different lip balms I have acquired.  I just recently starting using them, and I used to be only a chapstick girl!


Coach Legacy Colorblock Zippy Wallet Clutch.  Sold out, but you can find them on eBay here.  I love the size of it and that it can be used as a wallet or clutch, but I wish I would have bought the hot pink and blue version instead.

Michael Kors Ritz Two Tone Watch.  $250, but bought on eBay for $50.
Nixon Acetate Timeteller Watch.  Sold out, but similar one here for $120 with code STYLE20.  I bought mine at Bloomingdales during a sale for $100.

My two favorite watches that I wear everyday! One to match each outfit of course! I keep them both in my purse because I have a have a habit of leaving the house without putting them on. So if I don’t keep them in my purse, I will leave without every single time. Believe me, I’ve tried quite a few times putting them in my jewelry box. ; )

    I am a fellow suitcase carrier. In college when we were broke, I used to bring a 12 pack of beer in my purse and my roomates and I would all open them in the bathroom and drink them because they are so much cheaper!

    LOVE your sunglasses! Mine are Coach too (we have the same case!) but I've had them for like three years so I need some more fashionable ones! I think the ones that you have will be my next purchase!

    I love baby lips! I have a ton of purses, but since I'm a student I've had my large Vera Bradley next to my hip for the past year. I would be too embarrassed to even name everything in there

    I have that same exact MK watch and I love it! I wear it so much! I bought mine on Overstock.com a couple years ago, but I didn't get as good of a deal as you did! $50 is amazing!! I have bought other watched on there, though, and of course I love eBay for tons of stuff!!

    Love your purse! I used to carry a large purse but as a full-time grad student, I carry enough books and such in my backpack that I didn't need a heavy purse as well.
    I thought about retiring my purse, but I've been a purse girl since I was little and I would feel weird not carrying one. I pretty much keep the essentials in my purse: lotion, hand sanitizer, debit card, a few dollar bills, some change for parking, a few tubes of lip gloss, and my keys.

    I love that Coach bag! I have been too cheap to spend much on mine yet. I guess if I got a Coach then I would probably carry it forever though. I get bored and switch too soon though. I'm wanting a new bag right now, haha.

    Looks like mine! It was funny because when I was scrolling through at first I had to go back and do a double take, your camera case looked like a little handgun case. I don't know the first thing about handguns, so I don't know if they come in that size, but I thought it was funny that it turned out to be your camera.
