Today is my Friday, and I was so close to accidentally wearing jeans to work today, oops.  I remembered just in time though.  I requested off on today and tomorrow a couple of weeks ago not even realizing it was Labor Day weekend, but a 5 day weekend makes it even better now!  It will be a nice break from work and school for a few days.  = )  We’re still debating on going to the lake, the casinos or just staying in town and getting caught up on life.  What are your plans for the holiday weekend?Thanks for stopping by for the Day to Night Series! This week the item is a black maxi skirt.  Joy from All Things White wore her black maxi more casually for day with a tee, a denim vest, some really cute tortoise sunglasses that I love and a gorgeous bright blue bag (that I need also!)  Make sure you stop by Joy’s blog to see her outfit details.  I wore my black maxi skirt a little dressier this time be pairing it with my favorite J.     I am excited to head "home" and see my family for Labor Day weekend. I am really looking forward to seeing my 94 year old Grammy who is not doing very well.
    I am also going to introduce RD and the kids to Amish country while we are there! My son has been obsessed with whether the women will be wearing bonnets or not. LOL

    I am desperate need of a new purse. I've been using a light pink bag for months and I mean there's only so many times I can pull out the magic eraser to clean up the scratches. Really wanting a dark pink or purple purse for Fall! 🙂 And love that top on you – so so pretty! – JB
